The route between the beach and the Coffee Magazine leads past a coffee trailer I have noticed for many months, but never quite got around to trying. On a weird day this week, a meeting turned car breakdown, facilitated our first visit and a much needed pick-me-up for driver of broken down car.
TenTwo Coffee Co is Located on Problem Mkhize Road in the parking lot of the Caltex Garage and we were in for a surprise treat!
Bluebird Coffee Roastery's State of Mind Blend was in the hopper and S'thelo extraxted it beautifully. He said that Luhle and Fanie (who just placed 3rd in the SA Barista Championship) visit him often and help him keep the coffee tasting delicious. S'thelo has been with TenTwo since it began, but has seven years of experience as a barista. It shows! Also, who can resist that beaming smile! Enough to make anyone's day!
The caravan opened on 22nd Dec 2021 and Owner Saba Nkomo says: "I started driving around to different coffee spots and with that, it's how I got my love for coffee"
