R&R: Keep Calm and Carry On

Wednesday, 3 October, 2012
Working towards a deadline is a fascinating thing. There is never enough time to do everything. You are constantly relying on other people. You think another cup of coffee might kill you, but you’re also certain that you can’t carry on without putting the kettle on.

A good soundtrack is absolutely necessary in such situations. To keep you focused and on track. That being said, I can’t say my music desires found any sort of focus this week, so it’s a bit of a mixed bag.
Folk when I needed perspective. Indie when I needed to tap my feet while reading delicious coffee stories. A golden hard rock classic to bring it all home, kicking and screaming.
They all helped at certain moments of this last week.

And the coffee. Oh sweet nectar, where would we be without you? Sleeping, that’s where ;)

The magazine goes into print this week and it is looking spectacular. I'm having the time of my life. There are so many good people to thank for getting us this far but that's for a different post, this one goes out to the groovy tunes and the cracking beans.

If you're having a full-on week, take a moment with a great coffee and try these on the ol' headphones.
