It always feels a little bit unreal when you finally see everything on the computer screen. You've toiled with gathering the best people for the features. All the contributors have scraped in just under deadline and you have a picture in your head about just how it all going to come together. And layer by layer it does come together.
And when Jon Ivins our designer was happy, we exported those files, burnt to disk and hand delivered to the printers. We arrived at DNA Printing as the afternoon Winter sun smiled down and we could breathe a sigh of relief.
But the moment that really blows your mind, is this one:
Holding the colour proofs and seeing the glossy paper bursting with the amazing content of Issue 4! Final checks this morning and then it's done. It feels good.
