Coffee: The Movie!

Thursday, 24 April, 2014
A Film about Coffee has been two years in the making. The production team behind it are these guys, Avocados and Coconuts:

"We are a San Francisco content collective comprised of artists, travelers, idealists and risk-takers who believe that work and play can co-mingle. After all, we came together based on a mutual devotion to the values that animate our lives. Aesthetic Beauty. Restless Creativity. Living life to the fullest."

But do they know anything about coffee? Well if director Brandon Loper, didn't before, he certainly does now. It was an ambitious project, the crew traveled to Honduras, Rwanda, Japan, Seattle, Los Angeles,
Portland, New York, San Francisco, Boston and Santa Cruz on their mission to get a glimpse into the industry we so love, from a US perspective of course.

Will it live up to the hype? We can't wait to get our hands on it to find out! The debut screening of the completed film will be shown at this week's SCAA (Speciality Coffee Association of America) Expo, possibly THE biggest and most revered coffee gathering in all the world. The coffee critics are sure to be frothing. Watch the trailer and get excited!
