Higher prices for rude customers!?

Have you ever stood behind someone that made you cringe by the way they speak to the barista or waitress? Have you ever been that person? We all have bad days. But a French cafe (ironic) has come up with a method of giving rude people a reality check, even if its just because you're having a bad day.

Higher prices for a lack of common decency.

A 'please' will get you a discount and coupled with a simple 'hello' you'll pay a fraction of the price. Pic and original story via takepart.com

Baristas are people too you know. A hello would be nice.

The owner of the cafe in question says mostly the menu board just gets people to smile, which in turn leads to them being that little bit more friendly when greeting the barista.

What do you think? Maybe the point is that it stops to make you think. It's the end of the year, it's Christmas time, everyone is frazzled, let's just take a moment to be just a little bit nicer.
