TheCoffeeMag has taken up office at the Durban Surf Lifesaving Club by accepting an offer we couldn't refuse. In support of the lifesavers and in keeping with a lifestyle business model we have opened a simple and delicious espresso bar at the Durban Surf Lifesaving Club.

We couldn't think of a better place to work out of and we're so excited to be a part of the fabric of cafes across our country. We're bringing in a beautiful espresso machine from Nuova Simonelli, we're showing off some incredible juicers from The Fresh Press. A house blend from the Bean Green and special roasts from around the country. Siya is a well established barista on the Durban scene

A little piece of our view.
We hope to create a space that does justice to all we've learned from our experiences in the industry so far. As you might know I started the Bean Green with my dad and Iain started theBOMBsurf with John McCarthy (read the back story here) and now here we are with opportunity to serve some life changing coffee at the edge of the ocean. We intend to take this bull by the horns people.

The Durban Surf community has given us a warm welcome and we're looking forward to growing the base, with a special Coffee Club membership in the works and lots of other big plans. Don't worry we'll keep you posted.

Exciting times ahead!
