Since the Durban Municipality finally saw fit to give out the tenders to the buildings along the beach front Golden Mile, one of the best additions has been Bike & Bean, the brainchild of Viki Ferreira. Tim Krynauw, who has been involved in numerous coffee enterprises over the last few years and is a judge on the Sunday Tribune/Illovo Cafe Society panel runs the coffee bar.
Just North of the majestic Moses Mabhida Stadium, with the Country Club surf spot in view, the old building has been rejuvenated and filled with good vibes, energy and the aroma of coffee! We would seriously recommend you go check it out when next in Durban (the best place to during Winter in SA!).
