Last week in Cape Town was a roaring success. Guests to the Road Show held at
Origin Coffee Roasting in Greenpoint and at
Hazz in Stellenbosch were wowed by Craig's technical knowledge and top tips for being a better barista. He must know what he's talking about, he's the number ONE!
The who's who of Cape Town Coffee came through to support and to learn. Baristas from
Tribe, Starlings,
Bean There,
Deluxe,
Rosetta,
Legado,
Ambeans and of course the hosting Origin, were all present.
Then this week we headed to Jozi, where
Bean There Coffee Company and Koldserve hosted two hit nights of The Champ's presentation. There was some lively debate and some of Joburg's best were in attendance; two time Champion Ishan Natalie of
Tribeca,
Wayne Burrows, Seb of
Motherland, Matt Carter of
Roast Re:Public, Stil.Coffee, Nicodemus of
Avanti Coffees and many more, including aspiring home baristas.
