The
AeroPress wormed it's way into the hearts of coffee professionals the world over because it is a geeky gadget that is affordable and so,
so easy to use. Of course, people started to experiment and play and 9 years ago the
World AeroPress Championship was born. The brainchild of the Tim's (Varney and Wendleboe), it has steadily grown and this year there were 51 countries represented in Dublin! And it was awesome! Our own Winston Thomas (
new Western Cape Barista Champion) represented SA and
Moreflavour held the SA Champs last year November which was also a fantastic time, we hear the next one is going to be off the charts - watch this space!
