African Brothers Football Association improves existing derelict school facilities, creates employment by mobilising illiterate, unemployed people and unites the community through football. ABFA have teamed up with the legendary folks at Deluxe Coffeeworks to get their teams in some amazing new kit. We love hearing about coffee stories that bring people together and benefit the community! We chatted to Craig Hepburn, one of the directors about this winning combination.

"Deluxe Coffeeworks sponsored our U15 and U17 soccer teams this season. There sponsorship greatly assisted our club and gave many young footballers from disadvantaged communities the opportunity to play in new kit and participate in the league. So Deluxe Coffeeworks, don't just do amazing coffee they also make an amazing difference in the community.

I met Carl over a coffee at Deluxe I approached him to discuss the possibility of him assisting us establishing a coffee shop at the academy. His guidance and experise has inspired us to install a contai ner coffee shop which is currently been designed . I posed the question to Carl about sponsoring a team . He asked me to find out prices and show a mock up of the jersey. Once that was done he offered to kit out the U15 and U17 teams.

ABFA started as a friendship between Siphiwe Cele and I to be an example of how South Africans can come together regardless of our race, culture and education. We started ABFA to make a difference in society.
We have identified 10 schools for development. We welcome any investors and sponsors who would like to become involved. We are very grateful for the sponsorship of Deluxe and look forward to developing a long term partnership. The replica jersey is for sale via our website."

Good luck to the teams this season, the new jerseys look amazing!
