Terbodore Coffee Roasters: Meandering!

Friday, 8 August, 2014
We found Marian sitting under a pile of paperwork.

"Aren't you supposed to be on holiday?!"

She laughs her rich, deep laugh, shakes her head and welcomes us in. We have to step carefully over the enormous Great Dane in the entrance hall and the rest of the pack of dogs, various shapes from small to Great had greeted us at the gate.

The big oaks have shed their leaves for the winter, but the warmth inside this little establishment is still burning bright.

She immediately sets about making us coffee even though we protest as we know her 'holiday' is greatly valued! But she insists, so we gratefully accept. The beautiful blue imported cups add a touch of class to an already delicious cup of The Great Dane Blend.

"You know, parents come in here and ask me if their kids can use these for the babychinos. I just have to say no, but they get very upset with me!"

Marian is straight down the line, likes to keep things simple and is always honest and kind. The business is run in the same way. You can't help but leave with a smile on your face.

They have a wonderful retail section where you can stock up on all the coffee goodies you need for a delicious cup at home. And if you intend on going for a meal on the weekend, breakfast or lunch, you MUST book to avoid disappointment. Their number is (033) 330 2380. Do it!

They re-open on Friday 8th August so get to the KZN Midlands when you can!

The gardens at Terbodore in full bloom in the summer.

The awesome and delicate blue cups in question :) And just look at the crema on that coffee!

Beautiful packaging designed around the family Great Dane.

Get cosy on the couch. It's a fantastic place to do it!

The Great Dane that inspired the blend! Bold, big on flavour and distinctive!
